What we store about you
Version of 16 October 2026. Draft: this text has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
This page says which personal data this server and the AirFrame software handle, why, for how long, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
Daniel Filković, as a private person, Drenje Šćitarjevsko 24, 10410 Velika Gorica, Croatia. Contact: daniel.filkovic@gmail.com
Your account
- E-mail address, full name, and the company and phone number if you gave them.
- Your password, as a one-way hash. It cannot be read back, by us or anyone else.
- The type of license you asked for, your licenses, and when you accepted the license agreement.
- Whether you agreed to newsletters and notices of new builds. You can change that on your account page.
Why: to give you an account and a license, which is what you register for. Newsletters are sent only with your agreement.
Your computers
- For each computer on which you logged in to AirFrame: its name, and when it was last used. Your password is not stored on your computer; AirFrame keeps a token there that you can end from your account page.
- For a day, the network address of log in attempts with a wrong password, to block guessing of passwords.
What AirFrame reports when a task runs or a file is exported
- The type of analysis or export, the build of the program, whether a task ended with an error, its run time and the size of the model (number of unknowns or panels).
- The processor model, the operating system version and the amount of memory of the computer.
These records are stored with your account. Your models, their geometry, file names and results are never sent.
Why: granting a license needs the server to know which task holds one. The rest is used to see which functions are used, how they perform and where they fail, which is our legitimate interest in running and improving the software. It cannot be switched off at present; if you object to it, write to the address above.
What AirFrame writes into its output
- Files you export (Nastran bulk data, Abaqus input) and result files of the solvers carry a line with your name, your company if you gave it, and the type of your license. Whoever receives such a file can read that line.
- With a trial, academic or non-commercial license, the same is shown in a corner of the 3D and 2D views, and so in pictures taken of them.
Tickets
- Tickets you open on your account page: their type, title, description, the AirFrame build you name, and one file if you attach it (a project, a model or a picture, up to 50 MB).
- Only you and we see them. The files are kept on the server's disk, not passed to anyone, and deleted with the ticket or your account.
Why: to look into what you reported, which is what you send it for.
How long it is kept
- An account that never confirmed its e-mail address is deleted after 30 days.
- Everything else is kept for as long as you have the account, and is deleted when you delete the account.
Who else handles the data
- DigitalOcean runs the server this site and its database are on, in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) delivers the e-mails this site sends: it receives your e-mail address, your name and the text of the mail.
The data is not sold or given to anyone else. This site sets only the cookies needed to keep you logged in and to protect its forms; it uses no tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
- See and correct: your account page shows your data and lets you change your name, company and phone number.
- Delete: you can delete your account there. That removes the account, its licenses, the list of computers and everything AirFrame reported for it.
- Copy, restrict, object: write to the address above for a copy of your data, to restrict its use or to object to it.
- Complain: you can complain to the data protection authority of your country; in Croatia this is the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (azop.hr).
